Overview of documents

The CESNI publishes the following documents on its website:

Work programme
Based on the strategic guidelines drawn up by the European Commission (DG MOVE) and the Secretariat of the Central Commission for the Navigation of the Rhine (CCNR), the work programme is the product of discussions between all CESNI participants representing inland navigation. The work programme presents the planned activities for the next few years, thereby creating transparency in respect of future standards and other documents.

Resolutions
The collections of resolutions adopted during Committee meetings are available on the CESNI website.

Standards and explanatory notices
CESNI adopts technical standards in various fields, in particular standards for technical requirements for vessels, professional qualifications, and information technologies.

The Committee also publishes explanatory notices for the standards. There are also unofficial translations for some of the standards, in addition to the CESNI’s official languages, which are Dutch, English, French and German.

Guides
The CESNI also publishes various guides to facilitate implementation of the standards.

The CESNI wishes to clarify the adopted standards by means of answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ).
