\nThe fourth joint meeting of the bodies responsible for the inspection<\/strong> of inland navigation vessels was held in Zagreb from September 26 to 28, 2023<\/strong>. This meeting, organised under the auspices of the European Committee for drawing up Standards in the field of Inland Navigation (CESNI), follows on from the meetings in Budapest (2008), Wroclaw (2012) and Vienna (2018).

\nMore than 80 experts<\/strong> from 13 CESNI Member States, as well as an Observer State, a representative of the European Commission, classification societies, industry associations and river commissions discussed numerous questions on the practical application of the technical requirements<\/strong> for inland waterway vessels in Europe.
